Top Sites...What are they and how are they helping my business?
Top Sites are a great way to advertise your site for free! They have
even found their way into Google, so if you are in a top site called
"Custom Boutique Stores" and someone searches for that in
Google...viola! They will find your site! That isn't the only traffic,
though. Everyone else who joined that Top Site List is advertising you
too!
So, all you need to do to join is to have a website and a
website banner(optional, but highly recommended to be seen.) You will
join the list, add your banner, and after your site is approved, you
will login to the topsite and get an HTML code. This code, which
typically includes a 125x125 square banner, will need to be placed
somewhere on your site so that people can click on it. When there is a
click, there is a vote for you and the more votes you have, the higher
your site is on the Top Site list!
